Zadowolenie z pracy w zależności od reaktywności i wartości stymulacyjnej pracy
Anna Zalewska
Abstract
The study was conducted to verify hypotheses derived in accordance with the assumption of the Transactional Model of Subjective Well-Being that a level of job evaluations can depend on person traits, environment factors and interplay between them. Emotional and cognitive job evaluations of 466 employees were analyzed in relation to reactivity and job stimulating value (low – clerks and journalists, high – teachers and soldiers). Pavlovian Temperament Survey (reactivity), Work Description Inventory (overall and facets satisfaction) and Job Affect Scale (positive affect and negative affect at workplace) were used. Results show that affects at workplace depend on reactivity, satisfaction with some facets depends on job stimulating value, satisfaction with other facets and overall depends on interplay between the two factors. Impact of reactivity on job attitude is stronger in more stimulating jobs and stimulating value of job influences this attitude of high-reactive workers much stronger than of the low-reactive. Findings show that sources of job attitude are complex and further research is needed to better understand and explain mechanisms of reactivity and job stimulation effects on job attitude. Key words: job satisfaction, affect at work, reactivity, stimulating value of jobsAuthor | |
