Dialogicality and personality traits.

Abstract
The aim of the chapter is to introduce kinds and functions of the internal dialogues and their correlates with a broad scope of psychological variables representing basic tendencies (traits), characteristic adaptations and self concept. Internal dialogicality is defined as a ability to change one's point of view, to conduct internal monologue or internal dialogue between parts of the self as well as to simulate social relaions. Such an activity is measured by means of Iternal Dialogical Activity Scale what contains 7 subscales referring to differant kinds of internal dilogues. An overview of empirical data from several questionniare studies was presented. Internal dialogical activity was correlated with temperament and personality traits, measures of attachment, measures of self-concept and self-esteem or empathy. The adaptive functions of internal dialogical activity were discussed.

- Rozdział dotyczy rodzajów i funkcji dialogów wewnętrznych oraz ich korespondencji z szerokim sprektrum zmiennych psychologicznych. Dialogowość wewnętrzna rozumiana jest jako zdolność do zmiany punktu widzenia, prowadzenia wewnętrznego monologu, symulowania w myślach relacji społecznych oraz prowadzneia dialogu między częściami Ja. Tak rozumiana dialogowośc mierzona jest Skalą Wewnętrznej Aktywnosci Dialogowej, zawierającą 7 podstal odpowiadających rodzajom dialogów wewnętrznych. W badaniach kwestionariuszowych sprawdzono korespondencję wewnetrznej aktywności dialogowej z cehami temperamnetu, osobowości, miarami koncepcji siebie i samooceny, rodzaju więzi oraz empatii. Przedyskutowano adaptacyjne właściwosci dialogów wewnętrznych.
