Rector and associate Professor at the Psychology Department, SWPS University of Social Sciences and Humanities.
His research interests are in occupational stress, job burnout, positive and negative consequences of direct and indirect traumatization. In the series of publications he indicated how social support and self-efficacy beliefs help to cope with life and traumatic stressors. With the research group "StresLab" he designs and evaluates psychological internet interventions focusing on coping with depression, trauma, and job stress. He published his research in following journals: Journal of Consulting and Clinical Psychology, Behaviour Research and Therapy, Journal of Vocational Behavior, Stress and Health, Anxiety, Stress, & Coping, Journal of Nervous and Mental Disease, Military Psychology, PlosOne.
