I am a psychologist and cognitive-behavioural therapist. I am an Associate Professor at the SWPS University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Head of Department of Clinical and Health Psychology as well as Head of Eating, Behaviours and Cognitive Processes Interdisciplinary Laboratory (Eat Beh Cog InterLab) at Katowice Faculty of Psychology. I was a laureate of the “START” scholarship for young scientists of the Foundation for Polish Science, a French Government scholarship holder and a lecturer at French universities (Université Paul Verlain – Metz, Université de Nantes).

I am the author of over 80 scholarly publications (in Polish, English and French), a member of the editorial board for “Eating and Weight Disorders – Studies of Anorexia, Bulimia and Obesity” (IF = 1.784/2016).

I am experienced in the therapeutic work with patients with eating disorders and their families. I am currently following a specialised, four-year training in the cognitive-behavioural therapy of adult disorders in the Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy Centre (CTPB) in Warsaw. I have also completed formations in the Ericksonian therapy in the Polish Erickson Institute. In addition, I have finished the Postgraduate Course in Art Therapy of the Polish Erickson Institute and the Polish Committee of the International Society for Education through Art.
