Biogram

Doctor of Law (J.D.) specialisation in criminalistics (forensic sciences) and M.A. in psychology. In 2012 received Juris Doctor degree at the Faculty of Law and Administration Jagiellonian University, Krakow, Poland. Assistant professor at the Faculty in Katowice of SWPS University. Associate of the Chair of Sociology of Law at Jagiellonian University and a member of a research team in the project entitled "Agreement for safety in Krakow" - project realized by Jagiellonian University and Krakow City Hall.

Her scientific interests concern psychology and law, eyewitness testimony, wrongful convictions, occupational stress in armed forces, sense of safety in the inhabitants of big cities and crime prevention.

Principal investigator in the research grant "The influence of psychological knowledge on the decision-making process of legal professionals in criminal justice system" admitted by the National Science Centre in Poland (grant ID: 2015/19/D/HS5/01241).

Co-investigator in the research grant "Psychological expertise in juvenile delinquency cases and in parental custody cases" admitted by the National Science Centre in Poland (grant ID: 2015/19/B/HS5/01226; Principal investigator: Professor Danuta Rode).
